Dictionary of the Mehweb language
The wordlist of the dictionary is based on the East Caucasian thesaurus of verbs and nouns in (Kibrik, Kodzasov 1988, 1990) as well as on the lexical data collected by Nina R. Sumbatova from various Dargwa dialects and supplemented basing on our fieldwork in Mehweb. The dictionary was compiled by Michael Daniel, George Moroz, Semen Sheshenin and Ilya Chechuro. Audio files were recorded by George Moroz and Semen Sheshenin. The online version of the data was created by Alexandra Kozhukhar. The research was supported by the National Research University–Higher School of Economics’ Academic Fund Program in 2014-2015 (Research Grant 15-05-0021) and by HSE Basic Research Program (Research Grant 71) in 2015.
